Beneath the Surface 2013 Summer Reading Program

Our 2013 summer reading program will kick off on Tuesday, May 28th.
Teen summer reading is for all teens 6th - 12th grade.
(5th graders who are entering 6th grade in the fall can choose to join the teen summer reading or stay in the children’s summer reading program)

The Teen theme is: Beneath the Surface

Some of the ways you can earn prizes are:
1. Read 6 “YA” or higher level books to earn a summer reading themed T-shirt
2. Every 200 pages read, your name will be entered into a drawing to win prizes at our closing party (August 27)
3. Enter our contests for a chance to win top prizes

Special Events planned for Teen Summer Reading:
Teen Wii Night - Tuesday, June 18 from 7:00-9:00 - join us after hours to play our Wii system
Teen Charades - Tuesday, July 16 from 7:00-9:00 - how good are you are acting and guessing?
Teen Murder Myster Night - Tuesday, August 6 from 7:00-9:00 - can you figure out whodunit?
Teen Closing Party - Tuesday, August 27 from 7:00-9:00 - join us for pizza as we draw for prizes

Enter our Summer Reading Contests:
1. Summer Reading Themed Photo Contest - top prize is a camera
2. Duct Tape Art Contest - top prize is a Gift Card
Details for both of these contests will be available when summer reading begins.
