Let’s hope the Website problems are fixed!!

First, let me apologize for the problems we have been experiencing on our website.  Its been a crazy past few months.

Our trouble started this spring when it was discovered (by one of our patrons) that our website was showing wrong information - 1 1/2 years wrong!  The website had apparently decided to revert back to summer of 2009 - not sure how that happened or why, but it did.  We lost all information that was on the website from August 2009 until around March 2011, so I had to slowly work to reset everything - it’s unbelievable how many changes we had made to the website in that time.

Just when we thought we had most of the information fixed and ready to roll out summer reading plans, our website decided to do some more crazy things.  It decided not to let anyone access the tabs across the top.  There were also some links that did not work correctly - those were easily fixed.  The tab issue went much deeper - it took several months and headaches to finally get that issue corrected.

So, now I am happy to announce that at this moment (7-25-11), all tabs, links and pages of the website are available again.  Let’s hope we don’t have that trouble again!  On the upside, though, I am learning more about how websites work and how to fix minor problems.

I’ll try to keep this site up-to-date and out of trouble the best I can!
