August Activities

Be careful what you ask for! We have had a strange mix of summer weather this year - cooler than usual. Well, here is it August and we’ve got our high temps, staggering humidity and very little rain! That should teach us to be happy with low 70’s.
We are wrapping up our Summer Reading programs this month. The last day to turn papers in for prizes is August 29th. We’ve had a big summer - congrats to all who made the effort to read!
We have 3 last special events for summer:
Mr. Jim will join us on August 18th for Sport Stacking (very fast cup stacking). He’s going to not only show us cup stacking, but also teach us to do it, too. This program starts at 4 PM
We are also going to do a Board Game night for children registered in our Be Creative @ Your Library Summer Reading Program. This will be on Thursday, August 27th from 5-7. We are providing pizza, snacks and drinks.
For our Teens registered in the Express Yourself @ Your Library Summer Reading Program: Please note the Date Change for your Board Game night!
New Date: Friday, Sept. 4th from 7 - 10 PM.
We changed your date due to the C-F Home Football game Vs. Reading scheduled for August 28th.
Everything else is the same - we will provide pizza, snacks and drinks.
Thanks for a great summer!
